This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Help Us Build A News Set That Looks As Fabulous As Our Daily Announcements. Our students are in need of the materials to build a backdrop for our broadcast journalism studio. The students film, write, edit, and produce the daily announcements using a blank wall as the backdrop. Help us build a set worthy of our students hard work to produce the daily announcements.

At VTCTA, we have a broadcast studio that remains empty do to the lack of furniture and funds to furnish the studio. We feel that we need to create a set that is worthy of our fabulous, daily announcements.

We are in need of some bookcases and file cases to build a set that will represent our school. We are a school that is dedicated to the service men and women of the US Military and we would like to showcase different memorabilia on the bookcases during the daily announcements. The students feel that they would like to present themselves in a more polished, professional manner that makes the other students proud of their daily announcements and broadcasting class. With the equipment to build a studio, the students will be able to produce daily announcements on a professional caliber.

Please help us create a news set that the students, teachers and Veterans would be proud of. You can make it possible for my students to take pride in their school, their announcements while representing and honoring the United States Armed Forces.
