My Students

On any given day, you will see my students engaged in the curriculum with huge smiles on their faces. My amazing school has to be one of the most fascinating schools in the country with over 45 languages spoken. There are seven different languages spoken in my classroom alone.

My students are a diverse group of 4th graders who are full of personality.

Though almost all qualify for free or reduced-price lunches and come from some hard upbringings, it does not stop their desire to smile, have fun, and learn.

My Project

Please help our class with video equipment to gain skills and learn about photography while documenting their year! Students will be able to read books to learn photography skills and take photos/videos!

We are requesting books, cameras, equipment and film to document our year with pictures and videos of all the amazing happenings!

We'd love polaroid cameras along with film, and a camcorder to capture memories in our classroom and on the yard. I would love for our students to be able to use the cameras to capture and keep pictures of their friends in the classroom along with videos of them reading their poetry and performing things like reader's theatre or conducting interviews to all be compiled on a compilation DVD for them to cherish at the end of the year!. Please help us bring this project to life. We would really appreciate it!
