My Project

The library is a safe space for students to learn, design, and create during lunch. Each month, we create destinations that help students engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Students will be using the 3D pens in maker challenges to solve different problems and create products. If this grant is funded, the first project will happen in December when we design holiday ornaments for the nursing homes in our area.

Our goal is to have more happy kids, especially when they are choosing to spend their lunchtime with us!

With every new month, excitement builds for each learning experience. One of the most popular experiences for kids is 3D printing; therefore, adding 3D pens to our Makerspace would be an excellent addition. Students could design and create in the challenges without having to wait for the time it takes for a 3D printer to complete.
