Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every morning I open my door to 32 waiting and ready Kindergartners. I greet each one and give them a little hug and tell them "I'm glad you are here!"
My students are underexposed, underprivileged, poor, second language learners.
They are bright minds waiting to be turned on with everything that I can give them. School is a safe haven. A place to be themselves and to learn without criticism. I provide a loving environment and support all of their needs while they are with me.
My Project
Math, engineering and hands on manipulative are so important for Kindergartners. My students often do not have a chance or place to create and build at home. I would provide time at school with Lego's, building blocks and Magna tiles in order to spark the creative side that students are lacking in these days.
Donations are so important for my classroom - Donations are the only reason I have anything at all!!!
Providing underprivileged children with the same resources as other schools helps to level the playing field of life. My students are bright stars, they only lack exposure to resources. But with your donation you can help them shine!
