This is especially helpful when our laminator at school is out of order or rolls have been depleted. As soon as we received our boxes, the students and I set up the laminator. The laminator is amazing because it is quiet, heats up quickly, and is able to take large papers. \r\n\r\nWe already used it to laminate our Black History art project and display it on the wall. The laminator will benefit all 58 students and will be shared with my partner teacher. Next year, it will benefit over 50 students and will also be shared with my partner teacher. \r\n\r\nYou are truly amazing parents, and I appreciate your continuous support. I look forward to sharing photos of our laminator and future projects. Thank you, again. Because materials are easy to see and reach, students are able to get what they need and return it when they are finished. This has helped them feel more independent and confident in the classroom, and it has supported routines that encourage responsibility and self-control. Having an organized space also helps students stay focused and engaged in hands-on learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new boxes, they were very excited. Many of them wanted to explore the materials and were proud to learn where everything belonged. They quickly began reminding each other to put items back in the correct place, which showed a growing sense of ownership and care for our classroom. Transitions became smoother, and students felt more comfortable moving from one activity to the next.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, students will continue using this organization system as we work on longer center activities and collaborative projects. We are encouraging students to reflect on how taking care of materials helps everyone learn. These routines are helping build independence, responsibility, and confidence, creating a calm and supportive learning environment where students can grow both academically and socially every day.","fullyFundedDate":1770163369859,"projectUrl":"project/organized-access-for-independent-tk-lear/10002800/","projectTitle":"Organized Access for Independent TK Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. López","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9681695_orig.jpg?crop=476,476,x62,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723784014375","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/tkshoreacres"},{"teacherId":9681695,"projectId":9894805,"letterContent":"Our Transitional Kindergarten students are using the new resources as part of our daily social-emotional learning routines, especially during high-need moments like cafeteria time and transitions. When students make positive choices such as waiting patiently, following routines, or showing kindness they receive developmentally appropriate rewards like squeeze toys and stickers. These small incentives help children practice emotional regulation, build self-control, and understand that positive behavior is recognized and celebrated. The new hangers in our lost-and-found area are also being used as a teaching tool, helping students take responsibility for their belongings and practice independence.\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were excited and curious. The rewards immediately captured their attention and motivated meaningful conversations about expected behaviors and classroom values. Students were especially proud when they earned recognition, and many eagerly shared their successes with peers. The organized lost-and-found space also sparked interest, giving students a sense of ownership and responsibility as they learned how to care for their personal items.\r\nNext, students will continue building on these skills through ongoing social-emotional lessons focused on cooperation, patience, and problem-solving. We are reinforcing routines where students reflect on their choices and celebrate growth together as a class. These materials support our long-term goal of helping children develop confidence, independence, and empathy skills that will guide them not only in the classroom, but throughout their school journey.","fullyFundedDate":1767447547858,"projectUrl":"project/cafeteria-rewards-and-organized-lost-and/9894805/","projectTitle":"Cafeteria Rewards and Organized Lost-and-Found Closet","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. López","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9681695_orig.jpg?crop=476,476,x62,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723784014375","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/tkshoreacres"},{"teacherId":9162039,"projectId":9793708,"letterContent":"The pop-its with numbers to 200 have already made a big impact in our kindergarten classroom. The tactile, hands-on design has helped make learning numbers feel like play, boosting both confidence and engagement.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, students now have a fun and meaningful way to build strong number foundations.
