Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students mean the world to me and I enjoy providing them with coffee, tea, and snacks in the morning while the seniors are working on college and financial aid applications as well as financial literacy. Additionally, after school, I have several students who stay after to work on podcasting and their art portfolios. However, we are quickly running out of supplies!

Coffee has been shown to have a number of potential benefits for cognitive function, including improved attention, alertness, and mood.

These effects are particularly beneficial for my students, who often need to sustain focus and concentration during long class periods or while studying. Additionally, coffee contains antioxidants, which can help to protect the brain and improve overall health.

Providing my students with coffee, creamer, and sugar could potentially help them to be more focused and alert, and have a more positive attitude during class time.
