I teach a great group of second graders in a rural, school district in Oklahoma. My students are amazing, eager to learn and inquisitive. They come to school every day with bright smiling faces ready to face the day. They continually strive to do their best and cheer each other to success.
My students are special because they show compassion, creativity, positive attitudes and a love for learning.
My school actively supports active, hands-on learning that occurs in my classroom. We work hard and have fun learning every day!
Students love technology and using computers! Using a Chromebook would provide a variety of learning opportunities beyond worksheets in the classroom.
The use of Chromebooks would enhance learning and engage ADHD students through technology-based programs in our classroom.
Having this Chromebook would help these students complete daily reading comprehension quizzes, utilize them to practice math skills through online programs, connect to our ConnectEd online reading program to read selections and practice reading skills, and use it for a variety of critical thinking activities.
This Chromebook would be used daily in our classroom for instruction and practice. It would be beneficial for engaging in and completing project based learning activities for all styles of learners including my ADHD students.
