My Project
I have a Little Free Library bookshelf outside of my classroom that allows students to access books at their will, with autonomy and anonymously (they don't have to ask to take them or return them), and I particularly like to fill it with banned books.
Help stock the Banned Book Shelf of my class Little Free Library, with the CRANK series by Ellen Hopkins.
This project is for 2 complete sets of 11 books in the series and extra copies of the first few books so that students can get started with the series and continue through it as they choose. This series deals with a number of social issues common to teens today, like drug addictions, which is why it gets put on banned book lists, but we don't believe in censorship and encourage our students to address these real issues with resiliency.
