My Students

For many of my Pre-kindergarten students, this is their first experience with school. Many students struggle with social and emotional skills. Many of my students do not get quality experiences with quality products.

Our school is in close proximity to a major military base; we serve many students who come from active and retired military families and 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

These amazing students need additional support because many of my families do not have extra resources. Many of my students need the extra support that these books and materials can help supply.

My Project

My students need a variety of art supplies in order to experience multiple ways to learn and be creative. They need the opportunity to explore a variety of art and craft mediums while learning about the world around them. The glitter paint and foam shapes will provide opportunities for students to create what is in their imaginations along with what they see around their world. Additional supplies include wiggly eyes, moon sand, different types of pens, pencils and markers, craft sticks, wooden pieces, beads, buttons stickers and a variety of arts and craft materials.

The materials supplied will make a difference in my students learning by allowing them to express themselves through different art forms which they may have never experienced.

These art supplies will all be used throughout the year in small groups and individually. Students will be developing fine and gross motor skills while being creative.
