My students have a passion for art driven by their endless creativity. They love to create and it expands their minds in other content areas as well. They have loved using that same creativity in math this year to determine new strategies to add and subtract. They also apply this same passion to finding new learning strategies to increase their fluency and accuracy while reading.
They learn best when content is incorporated through visual arts and I would love to be able to give them more tools to accomplish this!
The art materials will help continue to unlock their creativity and open-mindedness to implement into other content areas. The clipboards will help us be able to also do this while allowing students to move around the room and complete their work.
