My Students

My students are an exciting, curious, sweet group of kindergarteners. They love to learn new things and are constantly exploring everything around them. We are navigating this crazy year together and I am so proud of how well they have adapted to their new normal.

My students have a love of learning that is so fun to watch and help grow everyday.

They love to help each other, and they are always learning from each other as well.

We love growing together as a class all year, and we enjoy seeing each other learn new things, becoming closer as a class, and always cheering each other on!

My Project

Completing crafts in kindergarten is one of my favorite activities to do with my class! So many skills are learned during crafts-following directions, fine motor skills, and fostering creativity. Although some of our days are rigorous with all the things we are required to teach, I always make sure to make time for a craft with my students each week.

Purchasing crafts that also have an academic element is the best of both worlds!

My students can work on the skills that completing crafts provide, as well as completing skills that we are required to teach through our state standards.

With the funding of a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I will be able to purchase activities created by other kindergarten teachers to use with my students. The craftivities I am going to purchase will correlate with our themes that we have through the year, as well as with the standards we are working on at that time.

I would be so grateful for this project so I can display my students’ fabulous work for them to enjoy and be proud of!
