This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Reading is a necessity. It is a life-long skill that students begin to lay the foundation for as soon as they begin school. But many students struggle to build a strong foundation in these crucial early reading skills. If that foundation isn’t strong, students become more at risk for lifelong literacy challenges.

Secret Stories give students logical explanations to help fast-track the critical code-based phonics skills needed to read and write.

Secret Stories are the “secret” reasons WHY letters get together and make the many different sounds that they do. They offer logical explanations for letter sound behavior that learners’ brains crave!

By helping me reach my goal and provide students with Secret Stories, you are helping me provide students with a rock-solid foundation for a life of literacy!
