This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for a book to give to each student at the beginning of the year to start a library for them at home. I would also like to get a new carpet for my classroom for whole group learning. Carpet time is a great opportunity for us to learn together as a group the foundation of our learning. We begin and end our each day on the carpet learning new skills from phonics to counting and everything in between. We learn to become great listeners and to talk to each other on the carpet.
