This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Who wouldn't want a nice cozy place to read? My students are looking forward to having some fun new beanbags to be able to sit in while they have independent reading time.

As a school, we are really working on students' independent reading time, so they are able to enjoy reading each day and work on their stamina.

We want to make it as enjoyable as possible however, so students WANT to do it! Having comfy, cozy seating is one step in the right direction. We are hopefully producing lifelong readers and learners.
