My Students

If I could describe my students in one word, it would be resilient! I have seen year after year the systemic hardships my students face, endure, and overcome. I truly appreciate their eagerness to excitement to grow and learn.

I admire my students' resiliency, however it is their kindness, loyalty, and humor that inspire me teach everyday.

This particular age is so amazing, because they are still kids but not short of adolescence. For this reason, they deserve a warm and inviting learning environment that encourages collaboration and community.

My Project

Having comfortable seating, beautifully and safely arranged around the learning rug will inspire my students to try their best and take care of their classroom community. I love providing flexible seating for my students because it shows them that I care and I am willing to provide positive choices in the classroom.

Truth is, all of our kids have different learning styles and preferences. Adding flexible seating to the classroom allows students to choose where they learn best. Flexible seating also provides a warm and engaging learning environment that fosters community and collaboration in the classroom.
