This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dear Generous Donors,

Thank you kindly for considering this donation for my second grade students!

My students are often losing their hats and gloves and during these cold Chicago winters, recess can be a very cold twenty minutes if they don't have the basic winter necessities to be outside. My students need fresh air and the break to run around outside, but without proper winter accessories, we stay inside for our playtime which doesn't allow them the opportunity to rejuvenate for the next hours of learning. Once we're back inside, they'll enjoy cozy and warm cushions for silent reading around the room! Thank you again for your consideration!
