COVID Ruelett, Where We Teach, No One Knows!

Help me give my students an Ipad and comprehension materials to help with specialized instruction that can be used online and in person.

My Students

I am a speech language pathologist and work with students who require specialized instruction through special education. I currently have approximately 72 students I work with. We target a variety of things such as; articulation, receptive language, processing information, memory, sequencing, retaining information, and stuttering. Each student learns a different way and requires individual instruction to help them be successful in the classroom.

My students have a variety of different disabilities but always come to school ready to work hard.

My students never cease to amaze me with their hard work and never give up no matter what. I always incorporate fun games to help make learning fun.

My Project

These items can be used in person as well as online. The comprehension and vocabulary cards can easily be used online and in-person with the appropriate scaffolding provided to the student to be successful.

The Ipad will allow access to boomcards and Apps that can be accessed over zoom or in-person to help facilitate learning.

The Ipad Pencil will allow my students with delayed fine motor skills to have access to the Ipad and all of its materials. I have personally invested in a variety of online sources that can be accessed online or in-person to meet my students' needs during this pandemic.
