My Students

Our classroom has kindergarten and first-grade students with a wide variety of capabilities, along with some with mental and physical challenges. Some of our students require many adaptive and modified materials, and additional assistance and special care from adults who share their passion and patience to encourage our young students to learn and achieve!

Our students are exceptional, surprising us daily with their eagerness to learn, efforts to communicate, determination, compassion, playfulness, and joy!

My Project

Our school is currently being put to the test by COVID, and so far our class is putting up a good fight! These supplies would greatly help us keep our students safe. For our children who are able to wear masks, we need extras for when they are lost or soiled, and this safety-approved type we are requesting seems to also be more comfortable, and therefore more effective. The extra underwear is for when students have accidents and run out of spare clothing, as currently even our Nurse's office is low on supplies. The alcohol sanitizing wipes help us quickly clean hands and other surfaces all throughout the classroom. Many of our hygiene supplies are purchased by teachers or family donations, so we would be especially grateful to have these materials provided through DonorsChoose!
