My Students

Poverty does not have to limit any child from the best learning environment. At my school, we believe in the arts.

I am teaching at a school where 100% of the students receive free lunch.

Many of the students are struggling with reading and math. Thus, finding different avenues to help foster literacy pleasantly is essential.

I am a teacher who teaches reading and math with art integration in mind. I want to be able to reach the whole child in each lesson. Being able to capture a child's attention and pull out his/her ever-growing creativity is my dream.

We are not able to continue our learning community as before. The parents are not able to purchase extracurricular products as they are struggling to feed and shelter the children. Thus, as a teacher, I must advocate for them and their learning. Please help us.

My Project

It has been a tragedy for students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Our students were making great strides in their learning growth. When it all came to a halt on March 12, 2020.

Unfortunately, the school year has shortened for many students; however, learning does not have to stop.

Many parents will not be able to afford a Summer Bridge book, nor can they afford to send their kids to a summer program. I want to help the children's learning to progress as they they head to an early Summer. Please help me do so, so the learning continues to progress, not regress.
