Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is classified as Title I but our classroom is so much more than that label. We refuse to be bound by statistics and predispositions. We reject the idea that special education students should stay away. We encourage all skill levels, intellectual and emotional. We collaborate together, play together, and learn together. We are Title Acceptance, Title Curious, Title Welcome, and Title Family.
Our Family and Consumer Science students are bright, funny, and talented.
They are creative in their spirits and needs. Each student enters the classroom with an open heart and leaves with life skills to venture out into the world as confident and capable young women and men.
My Project
Amazon Kindle Fires enhance student communication and collaboration opportunities in the classroom. My students need protective covers to protect the funded project which supplied students with 6 Kindle Fire tablets! Kids will be kids and accidents happen-from bumping into each other during lesson games to general wear and tear-these covers will protect our expensive and fragile technology.
It is strongly recommended to buy a cover for the Amazon Kindle Fire 8 and even more so in the hands of fast-paced high school students!
These covers will allow students to work together while competing in team games without the fear of damaging the donation.
