Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic, fun, loving, and full of wonder! These are 20 different young people who come from all different backgrounds and ethnicities. They all share a love for learning and enjoy coming to school each day.

Our school and community is very diverse and for many of my students school is their outlet for learning, sharing, having fun, and, most importantly, making memories that will last a lifetime.

I strive each day to make the students feel safe and to show them that by trying their best, they will be able to accomplish ANYTHING!

My Project

We are not using anything as of now when the students are working on their iPads or Chromebooks. I've noticed that when they do wear a set of headphones, they are much more likely to be engaged and they also sustain longer periods of time on their activities.

Being able to utilize headphones will allow the students to become much more focused and will give the classroom better structure.

The school day can be very busy with a lot of activity going around the classroom. Allowing the students to work in a much more peaceful environment is going to be key! It will allow the students to do a million different things without being distracted by the noise.
