My Project

I am requesting items to make a calm down corner in my counseling classroom. I work in a high poverty area that has many students that struggle with regulating their emotions on a daily basis. A calm down corner is a safe space where students can go to calm down and reset until they are able to return to class and be ready to learn. My corner needs sensory items which students can use to calm down and learn coping skills, so they are better equipped to deal with their everyday stressors.
