Counseling Office: Supplies for Small Group Therapy

Help me give my students a more comfortable experience when they are engaged in group therapy. I desperately need new, easy-to-clean chairs for my office.

My Project

I love working with middle school students in a Title I school. This is my eighth year working in my current school and my eighteenth year overall as a school counselor. As part of the tiered intervention services I provide to meet student needs, we will be starting small group therapeutic work.

I desperately need new, easy-to-clean chairs for my students.

Therapeutic work can be difficult, but my students being comfortable will be a huge help in creating a safe and welcoming environment. Most of our students are living in alternative family structures due to traumatic events, and early intervention therapeutic practices can aid our students in reaching their full potential, not just academically, but also as responsible citizens.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
