Cost-Efficient Color Printer

My Project

Our current printer consumes ink cartridges that are $100 per cartridge, hard to find, and expensive. I aim always to create a bright and lively learning environment and this project will allow our class to have a cost-efficient printer for us all to use.

Having a cost-efficient eco-tank printer will allow me to create photos and other colored printables to add to our data boards, interactive notebooks, and resources for students with learning disabilities affordably.

Students will also utilize the printer in class to contribute to group projects when creating visual representations, print research, graphs, and photos for at-home referencing. This would prove crucial to students without any technological support at home.

Our school is a magnet school and many of our students are bused in, so by the time they make it home, the public library is closed or computer reservations are booked for the day. A functioning wireless color printer within the classroom will further support the learning environment within the classroom and aid us when technology is limited or out of service.
