This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Several students have expressed an interest in the field of cosmetology. We have designed a unit of study to explore with middle school aged students. This project will allow students to discover and practice skills using hands-on materials.

Finding a passion at an early age can inspire attainable goals of meaning and purpose that can lead to lifelong stability in mental wellness, self-sufficiency, social interaction and confidence.

We want to provide students opportunities to discover and explore. With your support, we will ensure students develop a strong foundation and basic understanding of the cosmetology field.
