Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come to class always ready and eager to learn. My students are a diverse bunch of kids who encourage, inspire and compliment each other daily. They are bright young achievers who are always ready to learn and try their best. My school is a place where my students have a safe clean learning environment for them to successfully achieve their academic goals. The students not only learn academic goals, they also learn how to be safe, responsible and respectful citizens of the community.
My Project
Coding is the future! These Ozobot Robots incorporate the STEM activities necessary, which will allow them the opportunity to challenge themselves throughout the year. My students will also develop strong critical thinking and problem solving-skills which will encourage them to think "outside" the box.
Collaboration, communication and STEM challenges will give the students a better understanding on how to work together as a team.
The Ozobot Robots will not only enhance academic skills, but life skills as well. This will lay a foundation of curiosity, creativity and determination that will allow my students become familiar with computer science skills. This is our future for our students and I want them all to have a successful and rewarding experience with computer science skills.
