Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a reading intervention teacher, I help support first and second grade students develop strong foundational reading skills. The surface area for the magnetic boards that come with our curriculum have too small of a space for students to manipulate their magnetic letters and the letters often end up flying off their boards when they open them up each day.
These large, vibrant, blue cookie sheets will be a game-changer in the classroom because it will provide a larger surface area for the students to manipulate letters while practicing letter identification and creating words.
The lips on the edges of the sheet will keep the letters on the tray and they are stackable, too!
