My students are fun-loving and curious 5 year olds. Some enter kindergarten from a Head Start or Pre-K, while others come to school without previous formal education. No matter what, they’re excited to learn!
Our classroom is a place where students will learn and grow.
It is amazing to watch them bloom from uncertain 4 and 5 year olds to confident 6 year olds!
They are special boys and girls, and I know that you would love them just as much as I do!
Kindergarteners are inquisitive and learn best when they’re fully engaged in play! I am requesting a wooden play kitchen so that my students can have a sturdy kitchen. This will replace our old, plastic, broken, hand-me-down kitchen. I expect this wooden kitchen to last many years and be a useful toy for many classes of kindergarteners!
Learning about nutrition and playing with others will be fun with this new kitchen!
Students can learn about nutrition by planning “meals” with healthy choices from the food groups. Students will practice social skills such as sharing, negotiating, and cooperative play. Coordinating and planning with others is an important social skill that will help my young students be successful when working with others as they grow older!
This kitchen will enhance my students’ dramatic play and make learning so much fun! Thank you for considering supporting my kindergarten classroom!
