My Project

Cookie Monster Marketing is an opportunity for students to use skills they have learned throughout our Business, Marketing, and Information Technology classes to work collaboratively to research recipes, create a business plan, use Microsoft 365 to design marketing materials such as flyers, sale ads, commercial scripts, etc., and “sell” their cookies.

A cookie oven is being purchased using other funds, but we still need the necessary items to complete our project safely and efficiently.

Parchment paper tray liners will protect the cookie trays during baking and make it easier for students to remove cookies. The silicone tongs, cookie turners, and heat-resistant oven mitts will allow students (under careful supervision) to remove cookie trays from the oven, move them to a cooling rack, and then to the display case for "for sale". The cooling rack will provide a compact space for cookie cooling. A display case will show off the delicious cookies during the sales challenge, and bakery bags will offer a fun way for students to deliver their cookies to "buyers". Although students will be challenged to put their marketing strategies to the test to sell their products, there will be no real money exchange for this project.
