My Project
In our class we have an old laptop charging/storage cart. It's actually meant for iPad-sized devices so the laptops we use fit very awkwardly. Additionally, between the way the the charging ports are oriented and the way the cart closes, the charger cords are getting some major wear and tear -- some have even shredded to the point where the inner wires are exposed.
With all that said, a new laptop charging/storage cart would be a boon for our class!
Currently, handing out and putting away the laptops is an unwieldy process - for the student helpers and even the teachers. A new laptop cart would streamline the process of handing out the laptops, putting them back to charge, and storing them for when they're not in use.
Most importantly, a more efficient laptop transfer process would allow us to get started sooner on the challenging schoolwork that needs to be completed each day. The amount of lost work-time would go down a lot, the flow of the class would run more smoothly and, simply put, the increase in learning would boosted tremendously.
