Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In our 4th-6th grade SDC classroom, we have the amazing opportunity to work with twelve students who are all incredible individuals. Our twelve students all have very different interests and all love expressing themselves through the arts using different styles of art. In order to help my students to continue to grow their love for the arts, we need continued supplies and resources that can be very costly and can only be provided to us in limited amounts.
This drying rack, LCD tablets, and art materials will hopefully spark newfound interest and hopefully a passion for art for my twelve kiddos.
Art is an amazing tool that can be used across the curriculum and a tool that can help develop children’s motor skills, social skills, and even aid in building a classroom community.
