Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My elementary students in the K-2 grades do a lot of collages and paper relief activities. It is very important for fine motor development early on to help them hold their pencils, cut with scissors, and learn the process of sequencing. Projects like collages, paper bag puppets, and relief sculptures help fine-tune those fine motor skills and show rigor by also incorporating STEAM( Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). It is very important to provide exciting projects for young minds and also makes them think a little outside the box when constructing their very own paper-themed project to show off with confidence to family and friends.
