Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are part of a very large school district. However, due to our rural location, we have limited access to district and community-provided services. Also, many of the museums and other cultural opportunities are too far away for us to participate in.
I love my students and our tight-knit classroom community.
They are joyful and kind. They are incredibly caring towards each other and offer hugs and encouragement to one another.
These manipulatives will foster learning through playing and exploration. They will provide my students multiple opportunities to interact with their peers and provide real-life practice in cooperation and collaboration.
