My Students

Our class is filled with fifty-one, sixth graders who are ready to take on the creative and ever-changing world around them. They are innovative and kind, inquisitive and inspiring. Each and everyday, they welcome challenges and have learned to work through tough spots. Although they come from different backgrounds and have different abilities, they all share a love of learning. They are amazingly bright and fun. They are prepared to take the next step as middle school students in Fremont and I am looking forward to seeing what they accomplish.

My Project

The last three years have been a roller coaster of learning for my current students. From distance learning to missing huge gaps of learning due to quarantine, we have experienced it all. It is a goal of mine with this project, to close those gaps by meeting the needs of all my students. The board games will help my students connect with others after having been isolated for so long. The intervention box will allow me to reteach some of the missed concepts that are very important for understanding going forward.
