Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions.

They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.

My classroom is home to 23 of the most incredible students in the Fresno area. My students bleed Cougar Pride and every day they come to school ready to be challenged and work toward their goals. My students' love of learning is evident as they come in ready to show me their best every morning!

My Project

My students love to earn prizes and work extra hard for our class tickets, which can be redeemed for the prize of their choice.

Having a new selection of exciting rewards and incentives will increase their enthusiasm in class.

I have selected prizes that the students love and will be eager to earn.

As my students memorize math facts and learn new words they are also earning chances to win a prize! For them, it's a win-win.

Some prizes, such as the fidget spinners and slime putty, will be taken home. Others, like the stylus and erasers, will be used in class, giving them a chance to show their classmates that the hard work pays off. I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help my students through the engaging and relevant materials created by other teachers more talented than me.
