This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The resources you see before you will help create a more sustainable curriculum for my teaching environment. Throughout the past 4 years when the inevitability of COVID-19 struck our community, the curriculum took a nose dive with outdated and completely virtual material. Everything was transitioned to an easy to access internet-based form that took hours to remake for true, hands-on classroom learning. The loss of paper-based material did not help the curriculum and these materials will assist with the foundation for the rebuilding process.

With these materials I will have the opportunity to provide the necessary academic advancements to the curriculum while also benefiting from proven researched methodologies to improve my own teaching and learning.
