My Project

Every student deserves to walk into the classroom feeling comfortable, confident, and ready to learn. However, something as simple as forgetting deodorant, unexpectedly starting a period, needing a toothbrush, or having a spill on clothing can quickly become a distraction, especially for high school students.

With this project, I am creating a discreet Student Essentials Closet where students can access personal hygiene and emergency care items when they need them.

The closet will include items such as deodorant, body wipes, menstrual products, oral care supplies, tissues, hair essentials, and other everyday necessities. Students will be able to access these products without embarrassment or having to explain why they need them.

This project will also provide basic cleaning and sanitation supplies to help us maintain a clean, welcoming classroom environment.

My goal is simple: I want my students to know that their classroom is a place where their needs are recognized and their dignity is respected. When students don't have to spend the day worrying about a personal-care emergency, they can redirect that energy toward learning, participating, and being themselves.

By helping us stock our Student Essentials Closet, you are providing more than hygiene products. Your donations will be helping students feel prepared, supported, and confident throughout their school day.
