My students need three ASUS Chromebook 12-Inch with Gigabit WiFi to go online. Currently our computer cart is old and falling apart. We really need technology that works.

My Students

I have a class of students called Math Rewind. This is a class where students complete homework together, and also work on remediation through a program called Catch Up Math. These students have low math skills, and I hope to take them to grade level and beyond, I need technology that works.

My students live in the mountains of Colorado.

It is a relatively rural, poor community. Our district never seems to have enough money. Currently, our technology could use a boost. We have a wireless cart of 20 computers, of which about 13 are working. Most of the time other classes are using these computers, and due to old age, they are dying quickly.

My Project

These chrome books will allow for my students to get on a program that we currently use called Catch Up Math, right after they complete homework. It will also allow for students to work online whenever they need to, without leaving the room. Currently, when they reach for a computer to get online, it often does not work, or there is not one available. These chrome books will give them working computers that we can depend on.

Donating to my project will directly help my students as it will give them technology that is needed.

When someone finishes their work, they can use these computers to practice math skills. They don't have to worry about old broken computers, or not having a computer available.
