My Project

Computer science is a new graduation requirement in our state, so all students beginning with next year's freshmen will be taking a computer course. This is a new curriculum I will be teaching, and I want to be fully prepared when those new faces come to my class this fall. While they do all have school Chromebooks to work with, the trackpads can be difficult to use when computer programming. Using a mouse will facilitate the "drag and drop" feature needed to manipulate coding blocks on the screen. Also, since the curriculum is all online it can quickly drain the batteries, so having a charger will keep those batteries full while the students learn those twenty-first century skills!

My students are more engaged in their learning when they have the tools to support their success.

The products that I have selected will help my students by ensuring they have a way to manipulate the computer code as they learn programming skills while also providing them with a way to keep their Chromebooks charged as they navigate their curriculum.
