My Project

My students deserve access to high-quality computer science content! Learning to code is a 21st-century skill that is just as essential as learning to read. Computer science is used in every career today and has helped make our world a better place. I believe my students will have so many high-paying job opportunities in the future if they learn to code! Not only is computer science in high demand right now, but it also teaches students the skills they need to become critical thinkers and creative problem-solvers. These are skills that are used across multiple disciplines and in our daily lives.

Computer science teaches kids collaboration, computational thinking, and problem-solving!

The products I have selected will help all K-5 students at my school learn 21st-century skills that are needed in our world today. With these physical computing devices, students can learn computer science concepts before using a computer. Students as young as kindergarten can start using these devices to understand coding!
