Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Middle School Computer Science students are powerful learners! They're learning coding concepts that most people don't learn until college, if at all. My goal is to give them a calm, clean, organized classroom environment befitting of such ambitious learners. That environment should be clean, organized, calming, and motivating.

Our classroom needs basic cleaning supplies, organizers, and calming decor to create safe, consistent, dignified learning conditions.

Specifically, we are looking for:

- Disinfectant spray and wipes to keep furniture clean.

- Calm strips, quiet chair feet, and fidget toys to give students non-disruptive options to release their energy

- Fruit snacks, candy, and stickers as rewards to keep motivation high

- Organizers to keep classroom supplies from becoming a mess

- Hand sanitizer and pimple patches for basic hygiene needs

- Fake plants, border paper, and nice lamps to create a nice and calming atmosphere
