My Students

My Journalism and Yearbook students are talented individuals who pursue an education in skills that would benefit them in the real world. Our classes cover a range of topics from interviewing to design and help them excel at applying those skills wherever the future takes them.

As a school, we hope that all students will be able to reach their goals, and we work to give them the much needed tools to achieve them.

Unfortunately, like many classrooms across the country, we run into a roadblock of providing up to date technology to help make students competitive in the changing landscape of our economy and job opportunities. Access to updated materials and technology is critical for success in our classroom, and your support can help these students truly master skills that will create a stronger world in the future.

My Project

My students need a desktop computer that can support running all Adobe products from Photoshop to Illustrator. The computer will be used on a daily basis and allow multiple students from different backgrounds to experience programs that they could use to make them competitive in today's technology based market.

They will use this computer to edit photos, practice with marketing and website creation software, and create amazing designs that will be printed for the entire school to treasure.

Your generous donation to our project will improve our yearbook classroom by building stronger journalists who are allowed to explore their creativity.
