My history students need a computer desk for their new classroom computer.

I work at a special education school, servicing emotionally disturbed, learning disabled, and other special education classified students. Our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds; over 95% of the student body is eligible for free lunch and over 90% receive public assistance. The school’s ethnicity is as follows: 60% Hispanic, 30% African American, 8% Caucasian, and 2% Asian. These factors come together and place our children at a huge disadvantage, but we are committed to providing them with a rigorous academic and therapeutic program. I teach Global History and United States History to these students. Thanks to DonorsChoose.org, we recently received a desktop computer, which my students use for typing their assignments and creating presentations. The computer is currently set up on one of the students' desks, but we really need a computer cart so it doesn't take up work space. Despite their various emotional and learning needs, many of my students plan to pursue college degrees after completing high school. I want them to have as much computer time as possible, because solid computer skills are vital to success in college and beyond. Thank you so much for considering supporting our classroom!
