Help me give my students Vernier LabQuest Mini computer interface devices to allow our students to use Vernier probeware in completing science experiments using modern technology.

My Project

My school owns over 100 scientific sensors. The sensors can be used for a multitude of applications in science classes from monitoring radiation coming off of a radioactive source to monitoring a person's blood pressure. The problem is that we have only 8 interfaces to use the sensors. This means 5 IB science teachers have to share the 8 interfaces with all of our IB science classes. We have to schedule the use of the interfaces so that all of our students have the opportunity to use this scientific technology.

These Vernier LabQuest Mini interfaces will allow students to use their Chromebooks and scientific sensors.

The interfaces allow the sensors to talk to a kid's Chromebook to collect data during scientific investigations. Our goal is to eventually have enough of the interfaces so that all IB teachers can use them on the same day.
