Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Technology makes learning fun, but my students can't agree with me on that because many of them don't have the technology that would allow them to feel that way. Many of them don't know how to collect information because they don't have a printer to print out their findings.
My student are curious fourth grader with limited resources.
They enjoy researching topics covered in class, but many don't have a printers at home and that discourages them from learning more or trying to research on new subjects they learn about in school.
My Project
I use my laptop to teach different topics through out the day. My students enjoy this because it makes learning more interactive. They get really excited, but it gets difficult to hear with out speakers attached to the laptop. By using speakers they will fully enjoy interactive lesson without having trouble hearing the information presented. A printer in the classroom will also allow their curious minds to research more on the topics we are covering in class. For some this will be a great experience on learning how to research for information they will like to learn more about.
Being able to print out information they research on a topic they want to learn more about will make my students stronger learners.
They will not only be more engaged because of all the technology they will have access to, but they will gain more knowledge since their curiosity level will be spiked up.
