Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Due to the growing interest in Women's Basketball after this year’s season, we are ever more motivated to get our students back in the game. Since the pandemic there has been a decline in youth sports, and it is up to us to get students back in the game. This upcoming school year will be very important to us to get a jump start as we will only be returning 2 players. We will be rebuilding. This summer and the beginning of next school year will be spent on putting a basketball in the hands of girls who may have little to no experience.

So, as we prepare to rebuild our team and search for new talent, we need your help.

We want to make sure that all of our young ladies have compression shorts. These are moisture wicking and breathable. Most importantly they help reduce muscle fatigue which is an important factor for athletes.
