This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love to create fun room transformations. It is a very effective strategy to build student engagement and make learning more exciting. One theme this year will be "Camp Read A Lot."

I want to create a realistic campground scene in my classroom where students can read books about camping and practice their comprehension skills.

The tablecloths, binders, and tape will be used to make tents over students' desks. The backdrop and campfire plush will be used to create a cozy camping scene.

We will also work on writing and math during "Camp Read A Lot" to continue the love of learning!
