My Project

In Kindergarten we do an entire unit focusing on community helpers and giving back to our community. These items will be used for hands on activities with my students enabling them to learn all about the many ways in which they can contribute to their community. We will use the community helper doll sets to roll play servicing community. These activities will help them learn about how these people contribute to the community and the people around them.

It is so important for our students to learn about the those who work in our community and what an important role they play in our society.

In addition to learning about various jobs, the students will be able to use their free choice play time dressing up and acting out what we have learned in this unit . At the end of the unit the students will be able to take home vests and hard hats. This will be a treasure and a wonderful Kindergarten memory! thank you for contributing to this project.
