My Students

Some call us engineers while others call us innovators, but we don't, mind you, just thinking of us as the "Knights in Coding Armor!"

Our school is a new STEM school rich in PBL and community.

We are a public magnet school offering a unique curriculum rich in "doing" and based on experiences. Our empowering atmosphere has attracted students from miles around, but what's most special is that we are located in the heart of a diverse community that is categorized as being the most in need of high-quality education. Students at our school come from a wide range of backgrounds and we are proud that we are able to support and nurture innovative STEM education.

Your support helps us continue to offer an education built for the workforce of tomorrow using the skills and techniques that will be required in the most sought after careers.

My Project

Thanks to generous donors, our classroom has an amazing hydroponic system for producing mass quantities of plants, which has helped us immensely in learning about energy transfer in a system as well as lifecycles.

This project will allow students to expand the classroom garden to their homes and communities whether we are in class or distance learning.

The materials provided will be used either in the classroom or at home to begin the seed starting process where students will learn about the needs and requirements for various types of plants.

This project coincides with our unit on endangered species and ecosystems giving an excellent opportunity for students to learn about heirloom seeds and their role in making sure these plants continue to exist.

Most importantly, our urban students will be creating their very own gardens that they can take home and provide to their economically impacted communities.
