This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a community with many English Language Learners and students who have recently immigrated to the United States. The WorldPenScan Go tool would be extremely helpful in communicating and supporting students who are learning English. This tool would only help me to communicate verbally with my students, but it'll also help them translate materials that are in English. Moving to a new country, adjusting to new cultural norms, and making new friends, all while learning a new language, can be very overwhelming, especially for a child.

By donating to this project, you will not only help improve and increase their academic achievement, but it will also help newcomers feel more comfortable and welcomed by having the ability to express themselves in their native language while learning English.
